The Orca directional kiteboard is designed to offer the feel of a 'real' surfboard and is suitable for ambitious novices through to advanced riders. If you enjoy getting some smooth strapless air or just carving wave after wave then the Orca will put a smile on your face. As with all Vanhunks directional kiteboards, the Orca is handmade in South Africa so each board is unique; and you know that the construction and development has been tested in the harshest conditions.
The board gets up onto the plane easily and quickly due to its wider outline and maintains speed through the flatter sections of the wave. Designed with a squash tail to create more drive and stability on the turns, the Orca is a manoeuvrable board and can be ridden with either a thruster or quad fin set up in Futures fin boxes.
Vanhunks use their own specially formulated kiteboard foam core and with their precise measuring system they are able to produce a world class board with an unparalleled balance of performance, optimal flex, strength and durability. Diagonally crossed Aramid fibres have high performance properties, are more flexible than carbon and improves flex memory, improve point-load on impacts and reduce core-crush.
